Objective
To document how businesses are making decisions about outsourcing a software development team, such as: alternatives considered, sources of authority, key criteria, evaluation process, expected business value, and critical constraints. This information can help create better alignment between software development vendors and those who seek software services.

Compensation - Participants will receive a $100 gift card to their choice of Amazon, Target, or Walmart. This electronic gift card will be delivered via email immediately following the interview.
Response Data Usage - Participant responses will be consolidated across multiple interviews in order to assess general trends and common themes. Participant answers may be paraphrased and catalogued, but will remain anonymous.
